概况和办学特色:创建于2007年,现有专业教师9名。该专业曾是国内唯一的食品经济管理专业。2013年根据教育部对专业目录的调整,食品经济管理专业纳入工商管理专业,所在的食品经济管理学科是市教委重点建设学科。该专业侧重于学生数量分析能力的培养,围绕食品产业链各环节,通过对消费者行为学、市场营销、食品科学技术、供应链管理、物流管理、生产运营管理、食品质量安全管理、人力资源管理、客户关系管理、财务管理等基本理论和方法的学习,培养在食品药品监督管理部门、食品加工企业、食品流通物流企业、从事食品产业发展规划、营销、贸易、采购管理、物流管理、客户关系管理等工作的具有技术背景的复合型管理人才。

Profile: Established since 2007, Business Administration department has 9 full-time faculty members. The department used to be the only one in China that offers the undergraduate program in food economics and management. Due to the adjustment on undergraduate catalog issued by the Ministry of Education, the food economics and management, key discipline certified by Shanghai Education Committee, has been formed into the program of business administration. The program emphasizes the training in quantitative analysis and practices in each links of food industry. Students will be trained to be professional managers through studying on consumer behavior, marketing, food technology, supply chain management, logistic management, production operation, quality control and food safety, human resource, customer service and financial management. The major offers career opportunities in Food and Drug Administration, food processor, food distribution and logistics enterprise, industry development planner, marketing, purchase management, logistic management and customer service. Most of job positions require inter-discipline training in economics, management, logistics and food science.
Research specialization: food quality and safety, food industry development, food logistic management, modern food entrepreneur management.
