Personal profile:
I am an Associate Professor of AppliedEconomics. I obtained my Ph.D. in economics from University Putra Malaysiawhich now ranks 123rd based on QS World University Rankings for 2023. Beforemoving to Shanghai, China, I held several academic and research positions inDubai (UAE), Turkey, and Malaysia. In addition, I spent several years inmanagerial positions outside of academia such as; Noor Company for InformationTechnology, Marine Excellence Solution Company, and Marine Building LandmarkCompany, to supplement my academic knowledge with practical project applicationand for policy and management consultation. Currently, I am an InternationalAssociate Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Agriculture & FoodSecurity (ITAFoS), Malaysia. Also, I’m an Adjunct Associate Professor indifferent institutions in China and abroad.
I have published more than 65 researchpapers in reputable international journals indexed by SSCI and SCI. Moreover,I’m a Reviewer/Referee at many high-ranking SCI/SSCI journals. In 2024, I wasrewarded by Liaoning University as the Best “Teacher Award” for outstandingperformance. Also, I was ranked by ScholarGPS, USA, in the top 0.05% of allscholars worldwide. In China, I was rewarded by Lingang Special Area with the“Top 10 Science & Technology Pioneer Nomination Award”. Also, I wasrewarded by Hebei Yangtze River Culture Research Institute as “Yangtze RiverCultural Ambassador”.
In 2023, I was rewarded by the ShanghaiHuman Resource and Social Security Bureau as “Shanghai High-End Level Talent”.Also, I have received five certificates from the SCI/Q1 international journalfor outstanding contributions in reviewing and contributions made to thequality of the journals for the period between 2017 and now.
